AGENDA:
The workshop will open with an exploration of the results of the preliminary survey on current communication and cooperation issues in the workplace. This is followed by approximately 20 minutes of illustrated lecture regarding the background and meaning of symbiotic relationships: what is needed to develop successful symbiotic relationships (active listening, interpretation of needs, considering objections, giving to get, and a focus on objectives) and the benefits of the symbiotic approach. After the basic concept has been introduced, group interactive role-playing experiments will be undertaken to illustrate and amplify the concept: highlighting the need for active listening, the dangers of competition versus cooperation, and how symbiotic thinking can lead to superior results for an organization.
